Brian’s Story
Brian , L&M Landscaping Owner
Meet Brian, He first got involved with The Reach Center back in 2012 shortly after he graduated high school. At the time, he had a lot of trouble finding a job or even where to begin looking for one. His fear had overwhelmed him to the point where his ambition to find a job was gone. He had little to no people skills or interviewing. He was illiterate in computer knowledge as well as basics on math and writing.
The Reach Center stepped in and helped fill a lot of these areas that were lacking. Brian credits them for really working with him in all the areas he struggled in. This included his self esteem by changing his own perception on himself. The staff and teachers treated him well and made him feel like he mattered and the decisions he made really make a difference.
Today, Brian owns and operates a landscaping business in the greater Tacoma area (L&M Landscaping). He is very grateful for the tools that The Reach Center provided to contribute to his success.
